"These last 6 months have gone by so fast. So many good things have happened and there have been many many changes here in Dondo. The base as an ‘overall’ is moving in a very good direction in working together and crying out for more of God's glory.

"I am happy to say that I have gotten a better grasp on the language and am now actively taking classes to improve my grammer. I have become involved in many different activities. To begin, I have been organizing conferences for young girls and boys to discuss relationships in a very open and real way where they are free to share their thoughts. I hope to continue on with this.

"I have recently become involved in the overseeing of finances and because of some staff transitions have been taking over care of our group of boys. The bible school is again in session and I am continuing my teachings on ministry with children. It has been a busy ‘learning curve upwards’ and I am loving it!
 
"This past month I had to have my visa renewed in Zimbabwe and must figure out where to go next month to have it renewed for yet another month of being here in Mozambique. I plan to visit Canada in September for a time of visiting and hopefully raising some more financial support in order to be able to return to Mozambique.

"Overall I have learned some valuable lessons and gotten to know some incredible people. My hope is that through these relationships, hand in hand, we can continue to work together so that Dondo can flourish into all that God has created it to be!"
