"God has been teaching me so much since I returned to Malawi in April/07. During my first year here, I thought I had learned all that I could about patience....and I was wrong! The pace is so very different here. As I spend time with the workers, make regular trips to the city, and sort container shipments from North America, I am continuously challenged to rest in peace!
"We continue with construction projects but they have not gone as quickly as I had anticipated, as we have had to wait on the arrival of shipments containing many needed materials. With their recent arrival, we are now full steam ahead on building.
"I enjoy spending a lot of my time with the children, teaching them English and mentoring them. As we continue to bring in more children, that quality time becomes challenged. The Lord is good! When I am ‘done', He is not - and He carries me through and gives the rest that is needed."
