“As was mentioned in the March update, God has given us two new vehicles. God's timing is always perfect. As you all know, we struggled amidst the major flooding of the Zambezia River, and the trucks were very useful for carrying emergency supplies to all of our precious Mozambican families who had lost everything. I stayed in Dondo organizing truck loads of items for the missionaries who were out in the flood areas. We did our best to get food and blankets to those in need, as quickly as possible. It was heart-breaking to know that people were stranded and starving, and we felt helpless at times. I rejoice that the power and authority of God is made perfect in our weakness, and His love is unending. Hallelujah!!!

“We received 6 huge containers of food - I am so thankful to God for His awesome provision. We also welcomed quite a few visitors over the last months, and I thank all of you for your help and support. We even hosted the 22 world racers at our small center! They rented a truck and went with one of our Pemba missionaries to help with flood relief.

“I am very involved in the Mafarinha community, a 10 minute walk from our Dondo centre. I love visiting people in their homes, praying for them and enocuraging them. People are so very hungry for more of God. Watching as they grow in faith and love is both precious and priceless.

“At the beginning of July I transitioned into the position of managing the church-based orphan food distribution program.It was a huge step for me, but I am learning the ropes quite quickly. I was privileged to go along on one of the food distribution trips to the village of Buzzi.Pouring out God’s love, speaking His words of life, and building relationships with these beautiful people - WOW!!!

“On July 31st I arrived back in Canada for a time of refreshment. I plan to to return to Dondo at the beginning of October. Once again, I thank you all for covering us with your prayers and support. We are one body and would not be able to function without all of you.What a privilege it is to co-labor with Christ, to bring more of His perfect Kingdom here on earth.The harvest is ripe!!!”
