"I stand in awe of my God for all that He has done! He has done marvelous deeds and I praise Him for His faithfulness, His grace, His mercy, His strength, His compassion and His love to me. I am more in love with Him than ever and am so content and grateful to be here in Bangula.

"Through the extreme heat, the abundance of rains and flooding, the massive amount of bugs - you know it’s a God thing when you can say, 'I am blessed beyond all measure'. This is my home.
"I continue to teach English to all of the Iris children. We are in the process of building a school, and chose to set up some make-shift classrooms until that time so we could teach the children on site. We have hired teachers to help us, and have witnessed tremendous growth in the children over the past 6 months. While this excites me greatly, it also keeps me on my knees, as I realize the vulnerability and trust that the children have given us. They have such tender hearts.
"Much of my focus has been on developing personal relationships with many of the children. They give me great joy! Prayer times with them in the evenings is a definite highlight.

"We continue with the Kids Clubs, and my heart is full of love for the local village children who come each week. To hug them, laugh with them, play with them, and show them they have worth and are loved, brings indescribable smiles. As I bike down to the market and hear, ‘Auntie Sue’, it warms my heart and gives meaning to all I do. Though most live under desperate circumstances, when they are at club they have the chance to just be kids, as they learn of their great value to their Heavenly Father and to us!
"I have learned to lean more upon God’s compassionate, wise heart and to be content in ALL situations, even when my own heart is broken and wrenched. God is so merciful to me and I hunger for more and more and more of Him."
