February 2007 Nancy Anderson Update

Nancy and Helena"I have just returned for my second year here at Zimpeto after some time back in Canada visiting with family and friends and I am excited to both build upon relationships built last year and forge new ones. At the moment, my work will continue in the same areas. As the head of hospitality I work with a team that coordinates all aspects of our visitors' time here. Our goal is to practically facilitate their visit to allow the Lord to transform their hearts and worldview. It is a joy to watch the Lord breaking their hearts with the things that break His heart, and also to know that they take this transforming passion home with them. We see many return for second or third visits, and some as new long-term missionaries.

"Teaching Mozambican Bible school students challenges my own faith continually. It is a privilege to humbly sow seeds into their lives knowing how the fruit will be multiplied when they take it back to their own villages.

The girls in their city clothes on the beach

"I also continue my work building relationships with our girls through weekly activities with them. Some of my favourite times last year were watching them enjoy a chicken dinner and playing on the beach. (Included is a photo of some of those girls in their special "city clothes" on the beach.) We have many new girls that came while I was in Canada that I look forward to getting to know. Ultimately, we long to see them discipled and strengthened in their faith and relationship with the Lord. My continual prayer is that all I do here would draw those around me (and myself) into deeper relationship with Him."
