"The last few months have brought some diversification in my job description here. I continue my work as head of a wonderful hospitality team, and together we work with 1200+ short-term visitors each year (2-3 week visits). I also continue my work in the library only once a week now, as a young Mozambican manages it. A few months ago I felt the Lord moving my heart to do some teaching in the Bible school where we train Mozambicans to be pastors, and also to begin building relationships with our 60 girls. Teaching in the Bible school has reminded me of just how much I love teaching, and humbled me to teach men and women with such faith. In order to build relationship with the girls, I take a room of them into the city each week either to the beach, park, etc. It is a joy to get to know their unique personalities and watch them enjoy the simple pleasures of life like a walk on the beach, swinging in the park, a pop and chicken, etc. I plan to continue in these areas once I return for another year, after a couple months break in Canada over Christmas."
